Nature Walk at Florida Caverns State Park

Come join us for a guided nature walk along the trails of the Florida Caverns State Park on Saturday July 6th CST! We will meet at 10:00 CST in The Visitor Center parking lot. From there, we’ll walk the Bluff Trail, about a half mile walk through a shaded hardwood forest. We will pass through the mysterious tunnel cave and see many plants typically associated with the Appalachian Mountain range. Spaces are limited and must be prepaid. Please call or message 850 209 1535 to reserve your spot. Fees are $15 for ages 13 and above and $5 ages 3 to 12. There is a park admission fee of $5 per car load at the park entrance that includes all the day use activities of the park such as trails, playground and swimming area. If this walk fills, we may add other walks for the day. The walk is hosted by Billy Bailey of Old Ways Environmental Education. Billy has been in environmental education for 20 years having led over 3,000 interpretive programs for 50,000 participants. See ya there!
